NNEWI DIOCESAN SYNOD CONTINUES.

 Christians have been reminded that the mission of the early church still remains the mission of the church today as God is still interested in reconciling people unto Himself.  Bishop of Nnewi diocese Anglican communion, Rt Rev Ndubuisi Obi in his address at the on going 1st session of the 9th synod at the Cathedral Church Of  St Mary Uruagu, lamented on how  unfortunate it is that over the decades, Christians evangelized the church  including classrooms of their schools but not the world of unbelievers  The bishop emphasizing on the theme of the synod "You shall be my witness " reminded Christians that the church was born  in a blaze of soul winning reaching the street and homes where people are. Bishop Obi further encouraged Christians on the need of person to person witnessing, saying that is why every believer should be trained and equipped to fulfil the Great commission.
